A small donation makes a life changing difference!
The Connecticut Lupus Foundation was established in May of 1973 when there were only a few individual chapters around the country. At that time the Lupus Foundation of America had not yet been established as a national organization.
The Lupus Foundation of America, Connecticut Chapter is a non-profit, non-sectarian organization and a National Health Agency for the combined Federal Campaign. We are a proud member of the Community Health Charities. Except for two staff members, the chapter is operated by dedicated volunteers; many of whom are coping with lupus themselves.
As a member of the chapter, you will receive updated information about lupus, programs and activities through a quarterly newsletter. Please see “Join CTLFA” for more information. The Connecticut Chapter has a lending library providing books and free brochures, video cassettes, newsletters, old and new. We also participate in local and statewide health fairs. On a monthly basis, we offer support groups in West Hartford, Greenwich and the New Haven area.
Our common goal is to find a cause and a cure for lupus. We welcome and thank you for your support.
