WELCOME!!! And thank you for visiting my Facebook page!! Allow me to tell you a little about myself-
I bought my first home in East Hampton in 1967 and have raised my two children here. My son Steven is a successful Tractor Trailer driver and my daughter Kamey is following in my footsteps, having obtained her real estate license and becoming a Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New England Properties Agent (kameycavanaugh.bhhsneproperties.com) as well. She also lives in East Hampton with my two beautiful granddaughters, Bailee and Emilee.
Thirty years ago I opened the East Hampton and Colchester real estate offices and was the initial manager of both. My heart is in working with buyers and sellers so I soon after stepped down from some of my managerial responsibilities and became a full time agent. With over 30 years’ experience in residential real estate sales, I have developed an unparalleled reputation of honesty and integrity. My signature of caring for and working closely with my clients is widely recognized and acclaimed in the East Hampton area. My sales record attests to this concern. With over 600 Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New England Properties agents, I have always been in the top 7-20% in annual sales and several years I have been number one company wide. I also have consistently been in the top 10% of the Hartford Multiple Listing Service annual sales (among thousands of real estate professionals). The vast majority of my clients are either re-sales or former client’s children and relatives.
I am also a small business owner in East Hampton. West Shore Marine and the Happiest Paddler on the shores of Lake Pocotopaug. I live on the lake and its preservation and enhancement is a focus of my life. “Friends of Lake Pocotopaug”, is an organization my late husband and I were instrumental in forming. In his memory we host The Captain Grizzy Poker Run and give a $2000.00 scholarship to a Senior of East Hampton High school who is majoring in environmental studies. Having been a member of the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity and the East Hampton Village Lions I understand fully and subscribe to the philosophy of “Think globally - Act locally”.
